It’s without a doubt that the entire cast and crew along with the daytime television world was left both shocked and heartbroken over the news of Kristoff St. John’s death. The Young and the Restless star passed away in his home in Woodland Hills, California during the early hours of Monday morning. He was just 52-years-old.
Needless to say, it didn’t take very long for the daytime television world to express their utter sadness, shock and grief over the passing of their beloved friend. Kristoff St. John was a very popular figure and someone who was loved by everyone he worked with.
Some of his former co-stars have released statements to the press. Actress Angell Conwell told People Magazine, “I truly hope that Kristoff knows how much he was loved and adored. His smile lit up any room. We shared so many laughs. Thank you courageously trailblazing. Your talent, your humor and your compassionate heart will not soon be forgotten.”
Yvette Nicole Brown wrote on Twitter, “No!!! This news has truly broken my heart. Kristoff was pure & so kind. I will never forget how wonderful he was to me and everyone else he came into contact with. He was just a good, good man.”
Alice Hunter wrote, “My heart is with the family and loved ones of Kristoff St. John. Sending you strength and healing. May he be met with the comforting arms of his beloved son and may their gentle souls rest together for eternity.”

Linsey Godfrey added, “I’m so sad to hear this news. I had the pleasure of working across the hall from him for years. He was such a truly lovely and kind person. I have no words. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. What a true loss.”
