‘Days Of Our Lives Spoilers’: Brady And Kristen Consult With Marlena About Rachel’s Trauma
Days spoilers for this week indicate that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) will consult with Marlena since Rachel is traumatized about the night of EJ’s shooting.
Rachel was sleeping on Marlena’s couch when she was having a nightmare about Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) pointing a gun at her uncle, EJ.
We have a sneaking suspicion there is more to the story. For a child, tummy aches and nightmares typically mean a trauma has occurred.
Rachael told Marlena that she saw Johnny shoot his father. However, we know Johnny didn’t fire the weapon at EJ.
Marlena found out that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) covered up the evidence as he had gone to the mansion and saw his gun had been tossed in the flower pot.
However, when Marlena and Roman questioned Johnny, he explained to them that, yes, he had gone to see EJ that night with the intention of shooting him, but changed his mind.
He left the gun with EJ and exited the mansion. Now, Rachel is Kristen’s daughter. She’s the most DiMera out of her whole family. Rachel may be a lot more like her daughter more than anyone realizes.
‘Days Of Our Lives Spoilers’: Rachel Helped Her Grandmother Hold Ava Vitali Hostage
Rachel helped her grandmother, Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle), hold Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) hostage as part of their plot to reunite her parents, Kristen and Brady.
Kristen went to great lengths to protect her daughter from being taken from her and Brady by Child Protective Services, who have been concerned about the environment Rachel has been living in.
CPS has previously visited Brady and Kristen and expressed their fears about Rachel’s trauma and her parents’ respective criminal histories.
It was Brady and Kristen who got Rachel into therapy with Marlena. However, Rachel has been resistant to the idea.
It’s possible that Marlena may convince them that Rachel needs help unlocking her true memories, and she’ll propose hypnotizing her granddaughter.
That said, we have to wonder if Rachel is the true culprit who tried to kill EJ. She knew EJ was responsible for her grandmother’s disappearance.
Little Rachel had never even met Rachel Blake before she ran away to Aremid. She became very close to her grandmother very quickly, as they were partners in crime.
EJ sent Kristen’s mom away, and it could have triggered and angered Rachel. Rachel did say that she thought EJ got what he deserved. It could easily be Rachel who shot EJ.
‘Days Of Our Lives Spoilers’: Marlena Has An Impossible Decision To Make
If CPS caught wind that Rachel conspired with her grandmother in a kidnapping, they would no doubt take her away from Brady and Kristen.
However, it would be doubly worse if they found out the little girl tried to murder her uncle. If Marlena hypnotizes Rachel and learns what really happened that night, she could choose to keep it a secret.
In the Days summer preview, we saw Belle Black (Martha Madison) ask her mom, Marlena, point-blank if she knew who shot EJ. Marlena looked like she knew something but wouldn’t say.
We think she’ll soon find out it’s Rachel. Marlena would face a difficult choice. Would she allow Johnny to be prosecuted for a crime he didn’t commit if it meant protecting Rachel?
Johnny and Rachel are both her grandchildren, so it’s an impossible decision. However, if Rachel explains what compelled her to shoot EJ and swears Marlena to secrecy, what would she do?
Would Marlena really feel like she had no choice but to keep Rachel safe? Even if it’s at Johnny’s expense? Johnny likely won’t go to prison, but we hope that in the end, Rachel gets the help she needs.
