Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Robert Scott Wilson Opens Up About Ben Weston's Serial Killer Past, Admits Some Fans Haven't Forgiven Him

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that star Robert Scott Wilson understands that not every viewer out there likes his character, Ben Weston. That’s because he’s well aware of all the horrible things Ben has done in the past. And while he is trying to turn his rights into wrongs, he just can’t shake off his controversial past, no matter how hard he tries. Still, Robert says that playing Ben has been a challenge that he loves taking on every single day.

“There’s nobody like him,” contends Wilson. “Ben’s a loner … this antihero. My favorite characters ever are the antiheroes; these unconventional guys who do good things but are bad dudes. One of my favorite actors, Leo DiCaprio, plays a lot of them, like Billy in The Departed and Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street. Don Draper is another one, and so is Tony Soprano. He does awful things but loves his family. There’s something cool about those characters and I’ve always been drawn to them. The fact that this role has turned into that is just awesome.”

Robert Scott Wilson also said that a lot of people don’t like the fact that he’s getting very close with good girl Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). Each time Ben and Ciara try to make their relationship work, trouble follows them in one for or another. By now you’d think that Ben would let Ciara go for her sake, but that just hasn’t happened yet. And for Days of Our Lives fans they are worried…. and so is Robert!

“I get it, man,” he says. “Ben’s done some terrible s**t. He’s a multiple murderer. He was on this streak of terror that made me bristle.”
