In recent weeks, it’s hard for ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers to pick out a character that’s had a harder run of bad luck than Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), but his time is quickly coming. All he has to do is hold on for a little longer.
Of course, we say that as things are about to escalate big time between him and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) as they begin their custody battle for their daughter.
This has so much potential to get as ugly as imaginable, especially with Sarah flying off the handle whenever news comes to her from Xander’s plans.
A couple of times now he’s talked her down, and they were ready to work things out, but then she receives some bit of news, doesn’t pause to realize it started before their current conversation, and then goes into full attack mode.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Something’s Got To Give
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers find it nearly unimaginable that the show’s writers have her going from one emotional extreme to another and haven’t touched on any mental health issues.
Since the actress is bipolar, we’d think this would be the perfect way for her and the show to bring attention to the illness and do it justice with a solid storyline.
Instead, she’s stressed, tired, and whatever other excuse they can come up with for her to act like she’s losing her mind at the drop of a hat.
So with her doubling down, things are going to get worse between them before it gets better.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Turning Point
The way it looks to us is Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos), with Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien)’s help, will try to set Xander up for kidnapping his daughter and that could backfire.
While Sarah may try to believe it, we think she’ll know Xander wouldn’t do that, and it’ll help her get over herself and stop looking for excuses to hate and hurt him.
And then there’s the fact Konstantin and Theresa will learn that Xander if the real heir to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston)’s fortune.
It’s only a matter of time until that news comes out, and we’re thinking that’ll come from Theresa, but it’ll change the whole dynamic and he and Sarah will step into the role of Victor and Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers).
After everything Xander has been through with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) leaving and fighting with Sarah and losing Victor, he’s due for his life to turn around, and it’ll be fun to see happen.
How much longer will Xander’s bad luck go? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
