‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers are suckers for quick, cutting wit scenes and we got a pair of them thanks in large part to some quick blood thirsty thinking by Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish).
By pressing Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) to sign over his shares or they’d let him die, they set the stage for what was a classic moment between EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and them as well as with Dimitri and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).
“Days of Our Lives” Spoilers have been hard on the writers at times, but in the October 18 episode they flashed the style that puts them a few notches above the rest of daytime television.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Leo the pitbull
EJ’s attempt to come off as concerned and sincere with a cup of Dimitri’s favorite frozen yogurt didn’t get far as Leo wasted no time in calling out his bad acting and forced EJ to get down to business.
What really made the scene was Leo asking Dimitri if he could, and Dimitri giving him the go ahead.
Leo ran off some of his typical awesomeness as he laid into EJ and explained how Gabi and Stefan got Dimitri’s shares.
The look on EJ’s face was priceless as he knew he was out EJ’d, and he stormed off leaving Leo and Dimitri giddy with victory, but that was only the start.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Going for the jugular
When confronted by EJ’s self righteous fury, Stefan quickly shut him down and pointed out he was trying to do the same thing they did, but they were quicker.
It’s the official start of hostilities between them as they’ll race to secure the rest of the shares both sides need to claim control over DiMera in what should be another fun scheming storyline.
What will make this even better if that they’ll both target Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), and we’re sure she’s going to have some of her own games up her sleeves.
For us, this was the perfect episode as it had so many awesome moments we had to rewind and rewatch them. It shows what they’re capable of when they want to get it done, and hopefully it’ll lead to some more great interactions down the line.
As for now, we’re stocking up on popcorn for the next back and forth between EJ and Stefan and Gabi. It’s not going to be one we want to miss.
