Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 17: What’s going on?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Tate confronts Doug. Since he has to be on to Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) being unaccounted for, it’s natural he’d question Doug. He knows about that debt and what Holly has done to help. So, he’s going to connect the dots quick.
The thing is, it’s going to get a bit ugly between the two. We do believe Doug III will do the right thing and confess to those threats against the girls. However, if he tries to help, we think Tate will put up a fight out of his negative feelings about Doug III and anger that the girls are caught in his mess. If Tate is smart, though, he’ll get over whatever pettiness and jealousy he has toward Doug III and work with him to rescue the girls.
As for Holly and Ari, they’ll continue to fear for their lives. We expect some more efforts to escape, or at least plotting how they might be able to make it happen. We just hope if they do pull some kind of scam, they do a bit better than a certain character on General Hospital. He just ended up getting knocked out and handcuffed to a chair for his efforts.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, Gabi learns Ari never made it to the lake. We assume this will be because of Tate, who already is worried about her and Holly. God help that kidnapper when Gabi gets hold of him! And, for that matter, Doug III. As much as we like him, he might want to take off as fast as possible. We all know how far Gabi will go to make people pay.

Finally, Sophia spins a tale to Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson). If that promo is any indication, she’ll come back from that trip with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) claiming the baby was born while she was gone. And not only did she find parents, but they took the baby already. We admire Melinda for wanting to help, but we still think this plan is going to backfire badly. Amy Is not just going to sit back and accept this. Neither will Tate. Although, he does have other concerns right now.
