First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal the search for Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is underway. We assume, of course, that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is the one on the hunt, since he said the police wouldn’t get involved this soon. So, we’ll likely see him making the rounds and asking everyone he can find what they know, or what they might have seen. There should be one stop in particular, but more on that in a bit.

Elsewhere, certain circumstances lead to strange alliances. This was the case recently when Gabi helped Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) with his daughter. Now, Xander gets to return the favor when he comforts Gabi. She’ll obviously be unable to focus at work and tell Xander everything. And Xander will repay her kindness with reassurances that Ari will be found safe and back with Gabi soon. Not that we think Gabi will believe it, but we are a bit intrigued about this possible new friendship that could come out of this mess.
Of course, the summer promo and other teasers hint at a plot soon that involves Gabi. So, she might not forgive and forget over some kindness at work. We’ll see.

In other Days of Our Lives spoilers, Sophia gets cold feet. She was clearly shaken about her mother’s phone call and her insistence that she be in Chicago with Sophia. Sophia then talked to Melinda and worried whether they can actually pull this plan off. So, we imagine she’ll have a moment where she wants to come clean and let whatever happens happen. Still, we know that this moment won’t last long, since she’s going to spin a similar and more detailed story for Tate later.

Finally, speaking of Tate, he might just get his way. Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) was firm in keeping the cops out of this situation with the kidnapper. However, teasers say that Tate and Doug get help from Rafe. So, we assume Rafe goes to Doug III with questions, as he knew Ari had involvement with him. And Rafe is not one to be fooled easy, so he won’t buy any lies Doug III or Tate try to sell and will get the truth out of them. Tate will likely be the one to spill, since he wanted Rafe involved anyway.
