‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers have been waiting to see how the big reveal about baby Jude’s parentage plays out, and things are about to get really interesting in Salem.
Thanks to Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) drowning his broken heart in extra dirty martinis, he blabbed to EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and messed up his own chance at a payday that, sadly, was never going to happen.
We have to give him an A for having the guts to try it.
But now that EJ has confronted Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) about the paternity of Jude and she didn’t lie about him not being the father things are going to get fun pretty fast.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Using his love against him
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers will be surprised if EJ doesn’t start consider love to be his main weakness when Sloan attempts to use that to keep him quite.
She’s too smart to not catch on the language EJ used, so when she pointed out on Friday, May 3’s episode that Jude was Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker)’s baby and not his, it gave him pause.
We expect she’ll pitch the idea to him that neither of them want to lost their spouse since Nicole and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will drop them in a heartbeat to be together as parents.
So, to ensure that doesn’t happen he’ll have to play along and keep quiet and pretend he doesn’t know anything.
Since EJ doesn’t play well with others, this is bound to blow up in Sloan’s face at some point with mounting pressure on EJ from his siblings and Paulina Price (Jackee Harry).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Learning the truth
It’s not like EJ to allow himself to be forced into working with someone against his will, so he’ll want a fresh DNA test done on Jude to prove Sloan wrong.
When it comes back that he’s not the father, he’s going to be is arguably the toughest position of his life.
He’ll have to choose to keep Sloan’s secret or risk losing Nicole. If he comes clean, Nicole will drop him like a bad habit, and if he keeps quiet it’ll blow up in his face like a nuclear bomb.
Sloan will be dealing with her own fallout, but there’s always the chance that she’ll claim ignorance and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) could take the full blame for the swap to save Sloan.
It’s something we’ve thought could happen, though it’ll be highly unlikely.
