    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Did EJ Plan to Double Cross Li to Set Gabi up

    Things are looking pretty messed up in Salem right now, and that’s how ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers like it.

    With Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) about to face the full weight of EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)’s wrath, er, justice, things could be lining up for a pretty cool power struggle for DiMera.

    We’ve been going back and forth on who could’ve set Gabi up and we were so close to being convinced it was Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), but now we’re switching gears slightly.

    Thinking back, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers remember reports that EJ and Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) were going to work together, but now that Li’s dead it looks like it didn’t happen.

    Or did it?

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Wrong partnership

    We were sure that Kristen and Li were working together and Kristen either got overly fired up or had Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) on standby to revive him, but that may not be the case.

    In fact, Kristen may not be involved at all.

    There is a problem with that line of thought since we doubt Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) would’ve let him out of her sight very long on their wedding night.

    Granted, the show rewriting their own history to make things possible has been done, and EJ was trying to call Wei Shin (Clyde Kusatsu), whether about Li’s death or having his shares taken is anyone’s guess.

    We think it was a little of both as EJ will want to have Wei help him in finding a way to get those shares back and thwart Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barish)’s plan.

    And now EJ’s been handed the best position in town to see his plans are fully carried out.

    ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Seeking his “justice”

    EJ apparently turned down a deputy mayor position to be the DA, and that makes us wonder.

    Since it’s possible he either betrayed Li and killed him himself or had him killed remains to be seen, but as DA he’ll be in the perfect position to force Stefan to hand over their shares to him for Gabi’s freedom.

    We think he’ll still let her fry and she and Stefan will think that as well, so Stefan will find a way to break her free and spirit her off to safety.

    That’ll leave the two of them at a stalemate with Stefan looking for a place to grind and plunge his ax.
