While Ciara’s made a lot of good moves trying to prove Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) innocence, she’s also made some blunders. For every baby Mickey rescue type of situation, she’s given more reason to be suspicious of her. The biggest was when she opened Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) lock box. Not only did she make a ton of noise, but she destroyed the box in the process. We honestly don’t know why she thought Xander wouldn’t realize sooner or later. Especially when it’s not the same key. Did she even think about that? We’re assuming no. That was a big mistake.

Another huge mistake she made was with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) himself. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Victor found out about Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) taking on Ben’s case. He confronted Justin right in front of Ciara. We think she went overboard in her outrage, as well as suggesting Justin’s accusing Victor of the crime. We really don’t see where she came up with that conclusion, and this surely make any suspicions worse. But there’s yet another mistake that could come back to bite her (and Ben).

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Underestimating your opponent
Finally, let’s face a bit of reality. Victor is an experienced crime boss, involving himself in shady (and deadly) dealings since before she was even a thought. He hasn’t kept his position by being stupid, or easily fooled for long. His love for Ciara can only go so far when there’s a lot at stake. And, if he did what she thinks he did (or something else just as bad), there will be a lot to lose.
Plus, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers indicate she underestimated his reach. Victor has eyes and ears everywhere. It was only a matter of time before he learned she’s been at the prison, and after breaking up with Ben. This situation has escalated beyond what we believe Ciara can handle. She better hope Justin can do some big damage control. And maybe offer some advice going forward.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: What should happen
The first thing we believe Justin should advise (or Ciara should think of on her own) is changing her MO. If she’s going to make the trip for updates, she better give them to Ben through Will Horton (Chandler Massey). She already told Victor he was the one she visited. Secondly, she really needs to stop with the phone calls. Specifically, calls made in Casa Kiriakis. With their suspicions already raised, these are the only ways we see her succeeding in clearing Ben’s name.
