David & Annie: After the 90 Days Spoilers: David Toborowsky Has Decided To Become A Monk-'It Was Not Easy But I Learned So Much'

David Toborowsky, known for his appearances on 90 Day Fiancé, has been thinking about becoming a monk and may have gone through with it on the season of the spin-off, David & Annie: After the 90 Days.

David and Annie Suwan were first seen on the franchise, when the 53-year-old man from Kentucky encountered the much younger woman from Thailand in a nightclub. At the time, David had been divorced and was jobless, and he had to depend on his friends for assistance to bring Annie to the United States.

The couple tied the knot in 2017, and even though their financial struggles kept on, their luck took an upturn in a few years. In the latest instalment of 90 Day Fiancé, David and Annie traveled to Thailand with a plan to adopt her brother Jordan and cousin Amber and take them back to the US.

David was so taken by Thai culture that one morning he decided to pursue a life as a monk, which shocked Ashley, his daughter, who expressed her surprise onscreen. In her comments at the time, she remarked: “My dad can be a little vain, so the fact that he’s ready to shave his head and eyebrows is a little shocking.”

David’s dream of becoming a monk was a bit difficult for him and Annie to digest as it involved certain sacrifices. He had to shave his head and abandon his material belongings like necklaces, wristbands and his cell phone to don an orange robe prior to entering the temple.

But by the looks of it, this all paid off. In the picture here, we can see David wearing the robe. He has a massive smile on his face and could not be any happier. The post was captioned by the following comments: “My 1st day as a Monk. It was not easy but I learned so much in a single day. I pray and wish the best to everyone.”
