Gleb Savchenko’s divorce from Elena Samodanova is getting even messier after the duo continue to fight over spousal support despite their relationship being plagued by accusations of infidelity.

Gleb, for his part, is not just being greedy. He has asked the court to consider him having joint custody of his two kids, Olivia, 10, and Zlata, 3. Any spousal support would be used for the benefit of the kids, but as we all know, children can often be used as a weapon for financial gain. The duo tried to resolve this outside of a court scenario, but that could not be done for whatever reasons.
It seems Gleb did not want to reciprocate what he was requesting. The court documents revealed: “The parties attended mediation in an effort to resolve the issues before the filing of this action. While the parties reached an agreement on several issues, [Gleb] refused to pay child or spousal support without a court order.”
So what led to the two splitting up? Gleb started to gain a reputation that he may not have been all that faithful. After all, he is a professional on Dancing with the Stars, where he would be exposed to numerous women that may have tempted him. Although the person he was accused of having an affair with, Chrishell Stause, denied that claim, Gleb still had to defend himself.
In a previous interview on Us Weekly, he said: “ My relationship with Chrishell was and remains strictly platonic. Our friendship during our season on Dancing with the Stars was not the reason for our split. Elena and I have had longstanding issues in our marriage. This has been an ongoing situation between Elena, and I paired with poor timing.”
This, though, was not a surprise given that there had been many rumours that all was not right. Gleb had stated that he was in an unstable relationship where he had suffered from mental abuse, and naturally, he could not take it any longer. With that in mind, it was probably right that the two went their separate ways.
