Derek Hough has praised Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess over the manner in which they have been conducting themselves on Dancing with the Stars.

Derek, for his part, is well aware of the struggles that can emerge when dancing with one’s romantic partner. After all, he is regularly dancing with his girlfriend, Hayley Erbert.
So much so that the couple have a show entitled ‘Derek Hough: No Limit show’ where they showcase their dancing skills. That is why Derek has been impressed by the couple because they have managed to navigate some of the struggles that would have otherwise emerged.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Derek said: “I think, from what I can see, they’re handling it fantastic and enjoying the experience, which is what it’s all about.”
Nevertheless, the couple have been criticised by a subset of fans. They have suggested that the pair have an unfair advantage because they are a couple. Therefore, they have been able to put in more effort outside of the practice sessions.
In addition, the chemistry has been easier to show because they are romantically involved. And yet, Derek still believes that there are some things that the two can improve on.
He added: “The only thing I’d want to give advice on is his technique, you know, just kinda improve the dancing part of it. It seems like they’re leading with love, and that’s the best way to do it.”
With that in mind, Derek believes that anyone could win the competition this year. The scores so far have been very close, with many couples getting into the mid-twenties range.
Therefore, there are plenty of opportunities for someone to take the lead and set the bar high. He continued: “You usually could, more or less, kind of have an idea [of who will win or lose], but it’s a pretty solid cast.
“I think each person is pretty even.” Brian and Sharna certainly have a chance of winning the competition. They clearly resonate with the public, and once they get their dancing at a really good level, then who knows where that could end up taking them.
