Brian Austin Green has opened up on how his decision to join Dancing With the Stars was influenced by none other than his girlfriend, Sharna Burgess.

Brian and Sharna got together just last year, but they have already struck up a romance that continues to grow stronger. And given that Sharna is a professional dancer on the franchise, the duo thought what better way for them to become more in line as a couple than for Brian to see what Sharna does on a first-hand basis.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Brain stated how this was an opportunity that he could not miss out on. He said: “It just wasn’t on our radar at all, either one of us. But [then] the offer came in for the season. And the more we just kind of talked about it in general, we realized together that this is a really unique opportunity.”
So what can we expect from Brian? Well, he is from an acting background, so he is unlikely to become a victim of stage fright. Having said all that, Brian does not have this at the top of his mind.
It is true to say that he does want to walk away as a champion, but the primary function is to understand Sharna better. He added: “I really look at this as a really cool way of understanding who she is professionally.It’s really a cool way of getting to know her. It’s an amazing opportunity for that.” And the chance could not come at a better time. There has been speculation over whether the show will continue for much longer.
Not only that but there is no guarantee that Sharna will be on it in the future. Brian’s following comments confirmed as much: “I don’t know how much longer the show will be on. I don’t know how many more opportunities I will have for something like this. It was the perfect storm. Everything just matched up.”
We wish Brian the best of luck in his journey on the show. And let us hope that he can leave an ever-lasting impression on everyone involved, including Sharna. Time will tell.
