Crosby, Stills and Nash, who formed a music group with Neil Young, have joined the latter in demanding that their music be removed from Spotify.

Once again, this has been in response to the growing criticism that Joe Rogan has been receiving on the grounds that he is perpetuating misinformation surrounding Covid-19.
And as part of that process, several musicians have demanded that Joe Rogan be either de-platformed or that their music be removed as a result.
As musicians are showing no signs of slowing down, Spotify has to consider things very carefully when deciding what they should be doing.
In an official statement, the trio said: “We support Neil and we agree with him that there is dangerous disinformation being aired on Spotify’s Joe Rogan podcast.
“While we always value alternative points of view, knowingly spreading disinformation during this global pandemic has deadly consequences.”
Nevertheless, a certain subset of people on social media have felt that this has gone overboard. They were of the view that this has been done for publicity, especially since Joe Rogan had been talking about many controversial topics throughout the years with no push back.
But only since Neil Young had decided to do such a thing, that others have decided to speak out. And in the process of doing so, their music has, whether by accident or design, garnered more attention.
And yet, one of the band members, David Crosby, denied doing anything of the sort. In a post to his fans on Twitter, he said: “There are people worse than Rogan…I despise all of them.
“They know they are lying causing harm …but they do it anyway for bucks. I just don’t want my music on there if he’s on there so I’m taking mine off …that is not censorship.”
Regardless of what David has said, the very fact of the matter is that his actions along with the others will lead to more censorship being subjected towards Joe Rogan anyway.
