There’s a new report that says Jeremy Clarkson’s critics are now going after him as they say that the British television personality “got the kicking he deserved” for the comments that he made about Meghan Markle in his column for The Sun. British comedian Bill Bailey says that Clarkson’s vulgar slurry of words “misguided” and “ill-conceived.” He also said that Jeremy’s comments were the kind that you make to friends at a pub while drinking a pint, and not in a column for a national newspaper.

“You might [make a comment like Clarkson’s] in the pub as a clumsy, oafish sort of laugh,” Bill said in response to Jeremy’s controversial comments. “But you put it in print and not only does it take on another life but it gives gravitas to something that should never have had it.”
“You think, ‘Come on, you’ve got to be more savvy than that, surely you can see how that’s going to pan out’, it was misguided and ill-conceived and he got the kicking he deserved,” he added.
The former Top Gear host wrote he “hated” Meghan Markle “on a cellular level” in the article, published on Friday, leading to more than 6,000 complaints to The Independent Press Standards Organisation in the UK. The number is almost half the total number of complaints the media regulator received in 2021, an Ipso spokesman confirmed.
Clarkson wrote, “We all know in our heart of hearts that Harold Markle is a slightly dim but fun-loving chin who flew Apache helicopter gunships in Afghanistan and cavorted around Las Vegas hotel rooms with naked hookers. But then along came Meghan, who obviously used some vivid bedroom promises to turn him into a warrior of woke. At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her. Everyone who’s my age thinks the same way.”
