‘Counting On’ Spoilers indicate that, just when you thought the Duggars were done being in the spotlight after such an unsavory year (ahem, Josh Duggar anyone?) in the press, it seems that life goes on, and one of their younger sons, Justin Duggar, just got hitched to his fiance, Claire Spivey.
According to those in the fandom who follow the younger, less talked about Duggars, Justin and Claire have been in a courtship for about a year, but they’ve done it a bit differently than the rest of the Duggars, because there was rumors that Justin was actually staying with Claire’s family at one point, before they were married.
‘Counting On’: Scandal!
If you know anything about the Duggars then you’ll know that they have some pretty strict courtship rules, and one of them is very limited contact before the bride is married to the groom. Although, you know, all things considered they could be walking that one back a little bit considering how those restrictions didn’t exactly age well in the media.
Speaking of media, can we just talk about how excellently their wedding video was shot? Claire’s wedding gown, the venue, and all of the flowers, groomsmen, and bridesmaids looked really impeccable, aesthetic-wise the wedding couldn’t be beat.
Claire and Justin looked very comfortable with each other, so I think it’s safe to say that they had at least held hands before they walked down the aisle.
‘Counting On’: Defrauded!
Speaking of defrauded, there’s been speculation among the fandom that 18 year old Justin is about to become a Father with his 20 year old wife because they think that she has walked down the aisle while pregnant!
Guess we’ll know if they have a baby in a few months and it’s somehow “premature” at full birth weight. Of course, they’ll probably just say that it was a miracle from God (which hey, it’ll definitely be a gift, all children are) and a testament to how holy the union truly is that the baby was blessed with a good, thriving birthweight.
Now, of course nothing is official, all of that is just fan speculation, but If it is true, then that’s going to definitely put a damper on the whole Duggar brand… which is probably why mum’s the word right now. Stay tuned!!!
