Derick Dillard, who has been married to Jill, number 4 of 19 of the giant Duggar clan since has recently gone on a “Twitter Spree”, showing his support to those who want TLC to cancel the family and their show, Counting On.
The online push to have TLC drop the family, who have spawned two shows over 13 years, came after eldest Duggar son, Josh was arrested on child porn charges.
Both Derrick and wife Jill were featured on Counting On, the second installment in the Duggar family reality series until the pair began to pull away from the cult like religion and its rules.

The couple have been somewhat estranged from Jill’s family since they decided they no longer wanted to be part of the TLC show in 2017.
Now Derick is making his thoughts clear as he ‘liked’ a series of tweets fans/critics made, post Josh’s arrest.
“Hey TLC #canceltheduggars.” “They need to cut all ties today. Like this minute.” “The Duggars need to be removed from TLC now. RIGHT NOW.” were all tweets that received a heart from Dillard.
Josh pleaded not guilty to charges of child porn possession, featuring minors under 12. However, it seems his brother-in-law doesn’t believe his innocence. This is likely due to the fact that his wife, 29-year-old Jill was molested by her brother when he was a teenager.
At the time of the molestation coming to light, Josh’s brother John David had been quoted as saying “The devil took his best shot,” referring to his big brother’s crimes which he was never charged for.
As for TLC, the statement they released mentioned they were “saddened to learn about the continued troubles involving Josh Duggar” however they did not confirm if Counting On would be renewed or not. Though his wife, Anna has appeared on Counting On, Josh was banned from the show.
It was the discovery of the molestation that had TLC cancelling 19 Kids and Counting, the reality series that thrust the devout Baptists into the spotlight, and replacing it with Counting On which revolves around the next generation of Duggar children…without Josh.
