Now that Josh Duggar has been arrested by federal agents, a lot of Duggar fans and critics can’t help but wonder what this means for his wife Anna Duggar and their family. And yes, this is the same Josh Duggar that allegedly molested four of his sisters while he was still a teen. Here’s what you need to know.
Josh was arrested in Arkansas by the feds and only a few days after his wife Anna Duggar announced her seventh pregnancy. Apparently, his arrest is in connection to the used car dealership he once owned.
While no one knows what the arrest is for just yet, fans do know that things for Josh and Anna’s family will never be the same. In fact, many Duggar family critics can’t help but wonder if Anna will finally pull the plug on her marriage to Josh, even though she is pregnant with the couple’s seventh child.
Counting On: Is Anna Duggar Finally Going To Pull The Plug On Her Marriage To Josh Duggar Now?
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both fans and critics to weigh in on the matter on social media. Many of them wrote, “There is no way I could marry or stay married to someone who molested kids. No. Just NO. He creeps me out. And how could she trust leaving the kids around him??? I am sorry to say but that sort of thing doesn’t just go away even with intensive therapy,” along with, “Maybe she had no choice and no support. Maybe she is dependent on Josh for her children and her expenses because she has no career or education? I don’t know much about her.”
Another critic wrote, “I would think she is terrified of being on her own. If she is a product of this lifestyle, then breaking away would seem undoable. And he kept impregnating her, with each child it further solidified she would not leave. It takes a very strong woman to be able to leave under the best of circumstances.”
So far Anna Duggar herself has not made any comments about her husband’s arrest.
