Jill Duggar let the whole world know just how much she values her relationship with her husband Derick Dillard, as the duo celebrated seven years of being married together.
‘Counting On’: Derick Dillard Wants To Give Jill Duggar A Sheep As The Couple Celebrate Their 7-Year Anniversary
The stars of Counting On have been going very strong since they married in 2014. During this time, they went on to have two kids: Israel and Samuel. Their bond was recently present when Derick thanked Jill for all her support, as he graduated for a second time, following the conclusion of his major in law.
So what better way than to continue those happy memories by having an anniversary to remember. In a post to her fans on Instagram, we can see a series of pictures from the couple’s wedding day and life together. The post was captioned by the following comments: “7 years ago today, we said I do and became husband and wife! @derickdillard. I could’ve never imagined at the time all we’d face together and where we’d be now, but I’m forever grateful for you always by my side! Thank you for being my man.”
And in keeping with the happiness, the duo opened up on what they would be getting each other for the anniversary. Despite not being short of money, the couple decided to pursue a strange choice of gifts.
It was not clear whether they were making a tongue in cheek comment, but the fans found it funny nonetheless. In a post to their fans on Instagram, Jill stated how the gift was between the following: “[This year] it’s wool or copper.” Naturally, fans were left with a combination of laughter and bemusement.
And yet, Derrick was still convinced that the gifts could win Jill over. As for which one, he favoured the sheep. He replied: “If you’re about to have your seventh wedding anniversary…get your significant other a pet sheep. You just say, ‘Babe, go out in the backyard to see your gift.'”
Regardless of the gifts, there is no denying that the couple are in a really good place. We wish them a very happy anniversary, as well as a prosperous future.
