Coronation Street Spoilers finds that it has been a busy year for Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) on the street. It all began with his daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney) getting pregnant with troublesome Tyler before he discovered that he had another daughter in Emma (Alexandra Mardell).
However, while Steve may have come through all of this with a certain level of respect, it would seem that his wife Tracy (Kate Ford) may have struck the killer blow into their relationship. Tracy has been grieving the loss of Robert Preston (Tristan Gemmill) over the past number of weeks. Steve’s lack of emotion towards the situation has made her feel unloved, but that has led to a fatal error of judgement.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Steve To Forgive Tracy?
Steve is unaware at present that Tracy had a secret fling on New Year’s Eve with Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher). However, secrets don’t stay hidden for long in Weatherfield, and Tracy will be forced to come clean to Steve. But, will he be able to forgive his wife, or would this be the final chapter in their love story?
Steve will be willing to forgive Tracy’s actions when she comes clean, but she will then shock him by turning him down on a proposal that highlights the love that he has for her. Steve may be that bewildered by the rejection that he may be forced to leave Weatherfield for good.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Shocking Proposal
This won’t be the first time that Steve has got down on one knee, but the rejection that he may get from this one will sting more than the rest. The scenes are due to air next week, and Steve will get down on one knee in front of the whole of the Rovers, but will Tracy’s answer be a shock?
If she replies with a no, there is a sense that Steve may be leaving the street for good. He could leave behind Tracy and the remainder of his family, as the history that they have endured together may mean that there is no going back. It hasn’t been confirmed yet whether Tracy says yes or no, but fans will be waiting with bated breath to find out the answer next week.
