Coronation Street Spoilers reveal it hasn’t been the easiest few months on the Coronation Street cobbles for Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard). He lost his wife at the end of last year and now is he looking after his young son by himself. Daniel has been stressed over the past week as Bertie was rushed into hospital as he was diagnosed with measles.

Daniel didn’t have the baby vaccinated, which was the reason why he was rushed into hospital. To make things worse for Daniel, it emerged that Bertie was the person that passed the measles on to Maria (Sonia Longchambon). It was confirmed this week that Maria lost her baby because she had the infection.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Gary Fumes At Daniel

Daniel learns that Gary and Maria have suffered a miscarriage earlier in the episode, as Gary reveals that the measles was the reason behind it. Daniel immediately realised that Maria had caught it off Bertie but didn’t confess that to Gary. However, the loan shark learns about Bertie later in the episode and marches straight round to his apartment.

Gary punches Daniel and sends him to the floor, but Daniel apologises before other characters step in to stop it from escalating. Daniel is ridden with guilt as he goes back up to his flat, but Bethany (Lucy Fallon) admits that she can’t leave him on his own.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Daniel Sees Sinead

He agrees that she can stay for a little while, and suggests that she has a shower. Later on in the episode, Daniel wakes up from a nap with Bethany changing Bertie’s diaper, but Daniel is in a trance as he doesn’t see Bethany because instead, he sees Sinead (Katie McGlynn).

He is unaware that it isn’t really Sinead, but Bethany is Sinead’s dressing gown. Daniel continues to talk to Bethany as if she were Sinead before they then sit down on the sofa together. Daniel leans in to kiss Bethany, and they embrace before Daniel sharply pulls away. However, he asks her to stay over just so that they can hug on the sofa. Fans will have to watch Monday’s episode to see how this plays out. For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish.
