Coronation Street Spoilers finds that it hasn’t been a smooth ride for Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) since her arrival on to the soap, and it would seem that things are going to get worse before they get better. Nina lost her father recently, and she immediate blamed Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for his accident that led to his death, but could she about to turn to him in her time of need?
Roy was thrown into her and her father’s lives at the deep end, as he was bedridden. Roy decided to look him up after it was revealed that they were related, which made Nina his niece. But, the Corrie legend is to have a devastating realisation when he goes round to visit next week.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Nina Bullied At College
Roy has been visiting Nina at her father’s apartment since he passed away as he is trying to do anything he can to help her. However, she has refused his help so far and hasn’t even let him into the apartment. But, things are to step up a gear next week as Roy sees that Nina is being bullied and that vandals have thrown eggs at her door.
He begs her to come home with him, but she stubbornly refuses and states that she is fine. However, Roy isn’t one to give up easily, and he quickly runs back home to get Hayley’s sewing machine to take it round to Nina so that she can keep up to date with her coursework.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Bridges Built Between The Two
Despite Nina’s stiff exterior, she will be touched that Roy cares so much about her that he will allow her to have his ex-wife’s sewing machine. She will be that touched by his effort to reconnect that she will allow him into the apartment and become her model for her coursework.
The two will then have a deep conversation about Roy’s troubles with people that used to bully Hayley because she was trans. However, just as the two were bonding, bullies throw a brick through her window. Roy asks again for her to stay with him, but she was frightened and refused the offer.
