He believed that all his dodgy dealings with Rick Neelan were in the past, but it would seem that the daughter of the loan shark may have other ideas.
Viewers will remember that Kelly was on Gary’s case for a few weeks following the disappearance of her father. She was convinced that something more serious had happened to her father, as she admitted that he wouldn’t normally go one day without speaking to her. But, could her return be about to open a can of worms from Gary?

The scenes surrounding Kelly’s return to Weatherfield are set to air next week. They were originally slated for Friday night’s episode but the change in schedule due to the Coronavirus pandemic changed the plans. Gary will come face to face with Rick’s daughter in Roy’s café, and his face will turn as white as a sheet.
Gary believed that his dealings with Rick were in the past and that he was in the clear for killing him. However, Kelly’s return could indicate that Gary may still have some way to go to prove his innocence to her. He overhears Kelly tell Asha and Amy that she has been transferred to Weatherfield High, but does Gary have a plan?

In an effort to cover up his dodgy dealings, Gary calls up Kelly’s old school to see why she has been transferred to Weatherfield. He believes that her being on the street isn’t down to money, and instead, she is trying to discover the truth about her father.
Gary will be quickly on the defence and will do everything within his power to stay as far away from Kelly as possible. However, will she really be in Weatherfield to turn the screws on Gary, or is she genuinely there for her education? Viewers will have to continue watching to see how it plays out.
