Coronation Street spoilers have shown that the tensions between Scott Emberton and Peter Barlow are going to rise over the next couple of weeks as Peter becomes more suspicious surrounding the reasons why Scott has suddenly turned up in Weatherfield. Scott has been an unknown quantity on the street since he arrived, and very little is known about his reasons for being in the area.
However, fans are aware that there is something unusual going on between Scott and Johnny Connor. But, there has been no clear indication yet regarding what the secret between the pair really is. Scott was infuriated earlier in the week when it was revealed that Johnny decided against returning to Weatherfield.

Jenny Connor revealed that Johnny wasn’t set to return to Weatherfield just yet and was staying in France for a while longer. Scott is clearly determined to wait for him to return, but with the tensions rising between Johnny and Jenny, could he use that to his advantage over the coming weeks?
However, recent spoilers have indicated that Scott will instead be the target of Peter Barlow. Peter will be adamant that there is something off with Scott, and will begin looking into the newcomer to try and find out what he is hiding. Peter will become suspicious in future episodes when Scott becomes over protective over Carla.
Coronation Street Spoilers: What Is Scott Hiding?
There is something between Scott and Carla, as fans will remember that he has been protective over her since he arrived. A couple of weeks ago it would seem as though Scott took matters into his own hands by finding the people that were trying to blackmail Carla and putting them into hospital. Next week, Scott will once again get involved in Peter and Carla’s relationship and Tracy fumes that Carla has brought Amy expensive trainers.
Scott will poke his nose in and admit that Peter should take the blame. Peter is then confused why Scott is so interested in getting involved in their relationship, and will begin to look into what he could potentially be hiding. But, what could Scott be keeping secret? Viewers have already speculated that Scott could be Carla’s father, but could that be true?
