At one time the Winter family were in turmoil, as Bernie (Jane Hazelgrove) refused to be dragged in to the ongoing feud between Kel Hinchley (Joe Alessi) and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash). However, riddled with guilt from Paul’s revelations, Bernie is now hell-bent on revealing all about Kel, and what he is really like.
Bernie was oblivious to her exes actions and his grooming and abusing of her son Paul. He revealed all to her, but now she is threatening to take action in her own way. She was heartbroken when it was revealed by the police that Paul’s testimony may not be enough for a conviction, so she has put the wheels in motion for her own plan.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Initial Plan Backfires
Bernie has been trying to find a way to make Kel pay for his actions, but it hasn’t been without its mishaps. Her first plan to gain revenge backfired spectacularly. She raced to the mall to confront Kel and reveal all about him in front of his co-workers. However, he was able to overcome that and told everybody in attendance that they used to be a couple and that she was making everything up.
Her and Chesney (Sam Aston) were reprehended by the security guards before Bernie ran away and left Chesney. However, she now has a new plan, and that involves pretending to be a 14-year-old boy in need of DJ lessons with Kel. But, will her plan work when she reveals all to Sean (Anthony Cotton)
Coronation Street Spoilers: Will The New Plan Work?
It is unknown at the moment how Sean will react when he is told of the plan. He could go to Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and tell her all. It is expected that Bernie will tell Sean to keep the revelation to himself, but Sean has shown throughout his career on the street that he isn’t the best at keeping secrets.
But, could this time be the occasion where telling someone may be the right thing to do before Bernie gets herself into deeper trouble? Or, will Bernie’s revenge plan finally get Kel caught red-handed? We will have to wait and see with the upcoming episodes likely to air at the end of the month.
