Coronation Street spoilers have indicated that there could be a heart-wrenching twist for Asha Alahan over the coming weeks. Fans of the famous soap will remember that Asha has had to suffer through sickening abuse from her school friends as nude pictures of her have been sent around the school. She was asked to take her clothes off while on a video call to Corey, and she agreed since she wanted him to like her.
She was alarmed that he was taking a picture while she was naked but she never believed that he would defy her trust that much to send the picture around the school. Dev has been trying to take control of the situation over the past couple of weeks, but it’s fair to say he hasn’t handled it the best.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Asha Moves To New School
Dev has made the call for Asha to move to a new school after he believed that life at her original school would be too hard. She moves to Oakhill along with her brother, but life isn’t made any easier. Instead, the pictures that had been sent around her old school were also around her new one.
She immediately leaves the school and Dev is stunned when he sees her crying in the garden. He is initially furious at seeing her bunk off school, but he is reminded by Nina Lucas that her confidence is still low and that he should work hard at trying to relax her and not shout at her at all throughout this ordeal.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Asha Stands Up For Herself
Later in the episode, Asha has a newfound confidence and spots Corey laughing with his friends. She immediately sets about embarrassing him in front of his friends and admits that he has no respect for women. Nina is on hand to look proud, while Dev is also overjoyed that his daughter has taken control of the situation.
However, viewers are still concerned that the battle may prove to be too much for Asha, and that she may instead choose to run away from fighting with her new classmates. At Oakhill, she will have no friends, as Amy Barlow and Kelly Neelan are still at her old school. Will she be able to make it through this difficult period?
