Coronation Street fans have been left unnerved over recent months as they have watched the on-going abuse storyline centring around Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King). Geoff has been making her life a misery for the past number of months by psychologically abusing her.
He has already taken her bank cards off her, and made her think that she was an alcoholic. However, things are going to get much darker over the coming weeks as it has emerged that Geoff will record himself abusing her. Also, his actions also come under the microscope as Tim (Joe Duttine) begins to suspect him.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Geoff’s Magic Trick Goes Wrong
The latest escalation will come after Yasmeen makes a mistake during Geoff’s magic show. The mistake will leave him angry with his wife, and he will retaliate by posting videos of Yasmeen online. He doesn’t stop there, however, and later in the episode, Tim finds Yasmeen locked in a magic box.
This latest twist will cause anger among fans, as he has already forced her to marry him. As well as that, he makes her spend all her time cleaning the house and encouraged her to throw away all her clothes. But, this latest twist will ensure that people on the street begin to look at Geoff in a different light.
Coronation Street Spoilers: Tim Finds Yasmeen
Geoff hears that Alya was planning on taking Yasmeen for a massage, so he ruins her chances of having fun by begging her to stand in at the magic show. She didn’t have time to prepare for the trick and Geoff also didn’t tell what she needed to do.
Since she had no idea what she was doing, the magic trick was a disaster. Later in the episode, he offers to help her to understand the trick. However, instead of going through the steps, he locks her in the box and then heads out to the pub. Tim goes round later in the evening and is shocked when he finds Yasmeen locked in the box. But, will he speak to Geoff? Fans will have to wait and see.
