Billy has been a constant source of support for Paul after it emerged that Paul was abused when he was younger. Billy helped Paul overcome the stress that he felt, and their relationship has been able to go from strength to strength.

There is undeniably unfinished business between Todd and Billy, as Todd left Billy without any closure. Viewers will remember that Billy struggled for months to come to terms that Todd had left him.
The scenes aired a number of years ago now, and Todd hasn’t been seen on the soap since. The main reason for this is down to the sexual assault allegations that were hanging over Bruno Langley. Bruno later pleaded guilty to these charges in court. However, the soap have never officially shut the door on Todd returning to Weatherfield.

Todd was recently mentioned by Eileen when she was talking about her ex-boyfriend Pat Phelan. She reminisced about the time that Pat threatened to kill Todd during his vicious tirade over Weatherfield.
These rumours sped up again a number of weeks ago when it was revealed by the actor that plays Billy that there is an exciting new storyline about to start involving Billy. In the interview, he revealed that the storyline will feature a blast from the past and that somebody from his past will arrive in Weatherfield. But, could that person be Todd?
