Coronation Street spoilers fans have been concerned about the long-term future of Sophie Webster, as her character hasn’t been seen in the soap since October. Brooke Vincent’s contract is set to expire in two months time and many had feared that we may have seen the last of her on the soap.
However, Corrie bosses have denied that Brooke will be leaving the soap, and have admitted that they have been in talks for a number of months. She had been written off television for a prolonged amount of time as she has recently given birth, and her return to the street could be imminent.
Coronation Street Spoilers: When Will Sophie Return?
The bosses at Coronation Street have already revealed that the door is open for Sophie to return whenever she is ready. She was written off television after making the decision to go travelling. Her girlfriend at the time was supposed to go with her, but they broke up instead.
Paula was dating Sophie before she made her exit, but she admitted that the travelling was something that she had to do by herself. She encouraged Sophie to go and explore, and maybe they could rekindle their relationship when she returned.

Fans are still hopeful that the two may be able to rekindle their relationship when Sophia makes her return. But, the chances of that happening are incredibly slim; especially after Sophia hears that Paula slept with Tracey Barlow (Kate Ford) over the festive period. Paula will have more pressing issues to attend to before worrying about her personal life over the coming weeks as she will be tasked with keeping Abi Franklin and Sophie’s father, Kevin out of prison. They have been caught on the wrong side of Ray Crosby over recent weeks and there could be another shock twist in that storyline soon.
