Chris Pine divulged that he decided to go for a hair cut after his publicist amusingly likened him to the character Rachel Green from the Friends series.

Last year, Pine decided to let his hair grow longer, and he showed off the new style at the Venice Film Festival while he was doing press for Don’t Worry Darling. However, the look wasn’t met with enthusiasm by one of his peers.
In his comments, he said: “I thought I was looking pretty, pretty fly, the hair was long, everything was happening, and my publicist said I looked like Rachel from Friends. I couldn’t unhear it. And it was the first day and my first time in Venice.”
That was not the only controversy at the film festival though. There was also what was known as the ‘spit-gate’ saga. It appeared that Harry Styles had ejected saliva on Pine when they were seated together at the film’s premiere. Pine, who was applauding while Styles took his seat, suddenly halted, looked downwards and stuck out his tongue, as if to signal his disbelief.
Following this, he tossed a humorous look at the singer, however, Styles was busy smiling and adjusting his coat, and was oblivious to Pine. While that may have been the case, sources denied anything of the sort.
The following comments confirmed as much: “Harry Styles did not spit at all. People are seeing some odd illusion of sorts online that is clearly deceiving.” The social media response was much the same. Large numbers of people made it clear that Pine looked a lot better with shorter hair.
One person wrote: “Long hair does not suit him; makes him look like a minivan driving soccer mom asking to see the manager to use an expired coupon.”
