Chris Noth’s life has continued to suffer from further turbulence with the news that he has been dropped from the CBS hit show “The Equalizer.”

Chris Noth Gets Dropped By CBS Show ‘The Equalizer’ Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Chris, for his part, has been accused of sexual assault by three women to date. He has denied the claims, which has led to an investigation being carried out in order to see whether he has a case to answer.

In response, Chris has already become the centre of the cancel culture movement by virtue of the fact that several brands have distanced themselves from him.

One of these includes the cutting of ties between Ryan Reynolds and the exercise company Peloton over their joint commercial with Chris. Not only that, but he has also been dropped from his talent agency as a result.

In an official statement on behalf of the show, a representative said: “Chris Noth will no longer film additional episodes of ‘The Equalizer,’ effective immediately.”

Chris’ cause has not been helped by the fact that he has had to answer these claims in light of a difficult period. First of all, the incidents were alleged to have occurred a long time ago.

Therefore, even if something did happen to occur, the very fact of the matter is that it is very difficult to recall or explain things that have happened from years gone by.

Secondly, the rise of the current cancel culture has made it so that accusation is deemed guilty until proven otherwise.

In an official statement, Chris remarked: “It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

The response on social media towards this was very mixed. Regardless of what you think about Chris, some people felt that his job should have remained until these accusations had actually been proven.

After all, this could backfire if he is proven innocent. One person on Twitter wrote: “I dunno, I reckon it’s a pretty crazy world where people lose their jobs over unproven allegations. This direction is terrifying.”
