On the last episode of Saturday Night Live, Kim Kardashian made her debut and during her monologue, she made some incredibly interesting comments. Her fans were excited to see her dressed all in bright pink and ready to show off her public persona. Part of her monologue was all about why she ended up divorcing Kayne West.
She told the audience, “I’m excited to be here tonight to show you guys that I’m much more than just a pretty face and good hair and great makeup and amazing boobs and a perfect butt. Basically, I’m just so much more than that reference photo my sisters showed their plastic surgeons.”

Kim didn’t stop there with her monologue though. She went on, “But the one thing I’m really proud of is that no one can ever call me a gold digger. Honestly, I’m not even sure how you become one. So I asked my mom’s boyfriend, Corey. Now I know we’re divided as a country, but I’d love America to come together, which is why I’m here to announce that I’m running for.. I’m just kidding, guys! I’m not running for president. We can’t have three failed politicians in one family.” This joke got quite the response from the crowd.
She went on, “I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs. I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who has me four incredible kids. So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”
When Kim was asked to do the show she told her fans that she was nervous but really excited to have this opportunity. All she wanted to do was to really get the audience to be happy to see her on the show and laugh at her jokes. The hosts do get a little help from the writers on the show, but most of what she said all came from her. Apparently she did ask Kayne for a little bit of help with the jokes too. Kim continues to support him and they are still close.
