CBS ‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) had hired a private investigator to look into where she’s actually from and maybe figure out why she had been given up to the system. Well, not it looks like she may have some answers.
In today’s episode, Amanda got the news that they may have found her mother, and she’s only an hour away! She got the town name and after a quick search online, discovered she was just outside Chicago in a small town. The craziest news perhaps, came when she asked Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to go with her!

The show writers have been trying to push Amanda and Devon on us for a while and created an affair with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to do so. While a lot of fans are thrilled about the storyline, it looks like we’re going to get it no matter what.
With Amanda and Devon inching closer and closer every day, it’s only a matter of time before we see more of them, together. A trip like this could definitely do the trick, 2 hours round trip ride in the car alone, visiting her biological mother, and the fact that she even reached out to him two days before Christmas just paves the way for a future where Devon and Amanda are together.
Is this what we want? Wouldn’t it be a bit weird? I don’t know about the whole thing and it keeps bothering me the more we see the two together.
