CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal there may be another Newman child walking the Earth in the humble state of Kansas. There’s been a lot of rumors going around lately that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) childhood friend, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) may actually be his sister! Some have speculated that either Adam is the son of her father, A.J. Montalvo, or that Alyssa is actually the daughter of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)!

What would this mean for the Newman family? Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) would have a sister they’ve never even heard of before. What would this do them and how would they see their father now? Would they lose respect for the man or would they welcome Alyssa in with open arms? I assume the first option. Of course, you never know!

Perhaps the most greatly affected would be Victor’s wife, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki has dealt with enough just from Adam, let alone another addition to the “family”. This would be another hurdle for the star crossed couple and it’s hard to figure out how she would react. She’s been tired of Adam’s shenanigans for some time now, it’s possible she might just snap. However, there may be a chance it’s been so long ago and Victor may not have known that she wouldn’t be too upset at this point. It’s hard to say.

Adam Newman may also take it pretty hard. To find out that your best friend from childhood is actually your sister would be a pretty big pill to swallow. Adam has also been through a lot but this may be hard for even him to handle. Of course, these are all speculations. What do you think? Is Alyssa really a Newman child? Let us know in the comments below.
