CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that a lot of viewers may not be tuning into the number one daytime soap any longer. Throughout the last few months, people have become increasingly displeased and annoyed with the writing of the current storylines.
Many attribute this to the death of William J. Bell in 2005, and claim that the new writers were never able to pick up where he had once led. However, it seems in recent months, the complaints have grown, and now whenever you check out an Instagram post or a new YouTube clip from ‘The Young and the Restless’, there are several people angry about the writing.

These are just some of the more recent comments, “Your writers had 2 months to fix these storylines and the best you could come up with is Hilary Curtis had a twin? Why??? Please do better.”, “I am 49 years old and have been watching religiously since the 8th grade. I have stopped watching. You need a whole new writing staff”, and “I stopped watching ?”.
