Things are picking up in Genoa City, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some unexpected fun to come out way.
Of course, some of it’s predictable, but overall it looks like things are going to start improving storyline and writing wise.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 13: Victor has a surprise guest
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) loves to throw his weight around to get what he wants, and we could see someone that he’s unable to push around pop in.
In this case, we think it’ll be Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) as he’ll tell Victor he’s changed his mind on their deal after Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s recent troubles.
Victor will argue the point, but Ashland will point out Victor vouched for Adam and he was wrong.
This will open the bidding again or at least allow Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) a second chance.
Of course, Billy and Victoria will be working on that on their own as they try to come up with a way to patch up their relationship as friends and to counter what Victor’s doing.
Victor’s biggest mistake was threatening his daughter and the man she loves, and we’re pretty sure that’ll come back to bite him.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 13: Chelsea’s interrogated
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s plan is moving alone, but in her arrogance it never occurred to her that speaking out will harm her situation.
While Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will want to believe her, we have no doubt his frustration will get the better of him and he may be a little harsher than he may intend to be.
Even if he’s not overly aggressive, he’s going to remember Chelsea’s timing and what Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) told him.
‘Young and the Restless’ expect Chelsea’s information will be a little too perfect, but because she was around Adam it could give her the benefit of the doubt.
At some point, Chelsea’s plan will fall apart because Adam and Sharon are going to be together, but until then we’ll have plenty of time as this stretches out for a couple more weeks or longer.
At least we get to watch Adam and Victor squirm until then, so there is a plus side to the storyline.
