CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to sit back and reminisce about some of the best moments the last 40 years on the show, and we can’t think of anyone better than Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
There’s going to be plenty of flashbacks with laughs and tears as Traci and Ashley talk about their lives, losses, and lovers during their time on the show.

Traci embodies everything that’s good in the world. She’s kind, gentle, loving, and eternally optimistic.
She wasn’t always that way, like when she attempted suicide when she was pregnant, but she survived and used that moment to begin to find her inner strength.
Ashley will remember her time with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when she was having trouble and Victor and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) fought over her to make sure she was okay.
This is going to be a fun romp down memory lane and we’re looking forward to seeing what kind of clips and moments the show will share with us.
They’ve been through so much over the years, we doubt the show will be able to fit all of their best moments in one episode, but that just leaves more for us to talk about.
Of course, we expect there to be some moments where they remember the wreckage Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) caused and left for Gena City in general.
This would be a great way to tease more to come with Diane, and that brings us to our next topic.

There’s nothing like celebrating 40 years on a show, and while we’re lost in the celebration, ‘Young and the Restless’ are also going to look forward to what the pair have left for us going forward.
While the younger generation are running things, it’ll be great if Traci and Ashley can be in a few more major storylines before they call it a day.
There are plenty of ways they can step in and take us along with them on more journeys. The writers just need to put pen to paper and see what they come up with.
The current trend could be to have them get tied up with Diane in some way, with Ashley already sending death glares it wouldn’t be hard for things to escalate between them.
As for Traci, she could be put in a position where she’ll have to choose a side in a impossible choice.
These are just some thoughts we had, but we’re way more focused on seeing what they’re going to reminisce about tomorrow.
