CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) shared a nice conversation today and Theo was able to get a lot of his chest. He had a hell of a day, getting fired from Jabot, couldn’t get ahold of Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), and to add insult to injury, it was the guy’s birthday.
Luckily, he was able to vent a bit to Mariah who offered a judgment-free conversation for the night. Theo was catching on to something about Mariah’s mother, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and that’s what kind of sparked the conversation. He noted that Lola didn’t want to leave because her brother, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) had something going on and Mariah is alluding to the fact that something’s bothering her. Without going into too many details, Mariah explains that her mom is going through something, but she’s worried.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Theo And Mariah Share Special Conversation About Their Mothers
Theo ends up telling a story about his mother that could explain a lot to Mariah about Sharon. He tells her that no matter what he did, his mother would always be upset. He couldn’t do anything right, the dishes, laundry, even putting too much peanut butter on her toast. Though, he realized, she wasn’t mad at him. She was mad that this was flipping her world upside down and she didn’t have any control over it.
This hits Mariah and explains a lot of Sharon’s attitude lately. Plus, I think this makes Theo even more likable. This is just another layer that’s been peeled back and lets us see the real Theo. It was a nice conversation and I wouldn’t mind seeing more scenes with Theo and Mariah like this, where they can just talk and be friendly with each other. What do you think?
