CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will be attending the Newman Anniversary Gala, as a couple! Yeah, what do they care? They were together at Crimson Lights when Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) walks in and sees them. Scared they’re going to be rubbing their happiness in her face, Kyle quickly apologizes. Surprisingly, Lola tells them it was going to happen eventually, so it’s fine.
This rushes to Summer and Kyle’s head pretty quick. They’ve ignored every warning and advice they’ve gotten, including Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). They seem to know it all, don’t they? What could possibly go wrong? Oh, you mean besides rushing into something too quickly, taking a dump on Lola’s heart and having an office romance? Oh, probably nothing.

Later on at Jabot, they are all over eachother. They were going to the party anyway, but not together. Their plan was to arrive separately and just hang out as “friends”. Which as it turns out would be a terrible idea. Kyle admits that there’s no way they would’ve been able to hide it because of how much he loves her. Everyone at the party would notice them. Solid thinking.
Instead, they agree to just live it. Let it out in the open and they’re going together. As a couple to the party. They say they’ll probably get some nasty looks but they don’t care. They’re tired of hiding it. Well, it’s been like a week, if that. How are you already tired of hiding it? Like most viewers, I’m tired of this Kyle, Summer, Lola thing.
