CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers divulges that some think that a relationship between Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Clair Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may not be such a good idea. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) decides that she needs to warn Billy about his budding relationship.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: More than Friends?
At this point, Billy and Chelsea are good friends. As two people with a lot of chaos and trauma in their lives, they have found support in one another. They have helped one another through difficult moments and feel a strong connection with one another.
They really care about each other and while they haven’t developed a romantic relationship, it could be the way things naturally progress.
This seems to be on Billy’s mind and Sharon senses that. She warns him about becoming involved with Chelsea when she is so vulnerable. Sharon sees that the past that each of them bring to the table may cause them a lot of difficulties in a serious relationship.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: More Opposition
Another person who is opposed to a relationship between Chelsea and Billy is Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam shares a son Conner Newman (Judah Mackey) with Chelsea and is always interested in how she is faring. He also really dislikes Billy and believes he is a rogue. He does not think that the two of them should be spending time together.
He has expressed his concern to Chelsea. Chelsea states that Billy is her good friend who has been with her through some very difficult experiences. She is definitely aware that Adam doesn’t approve of their relationship, but she also believes that it isn’t really his decision.
What do you think will happen between Billy and Chelsea? He tests the waters, asking her if she would still be okay emotionally if he wasn’t in her life. She says that she can stand on her own two feet just fine but prefers to stand with him.
She enjoys spending time with him and appreciates his support and friendship. Will he see this as indication that he can pursue a romantic relationship with her? Or will they keep things platonic and encouraging? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
