CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show us more in the chemistry between actress Sharon Case (Sharon Newman) and Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales). Rey first showed up in Genoa City not too long ago. A mysterious and quiet man who caught the eye of Sharon. It wasn’t long before the two began dating. Lately, Sharon has had her battle begin with breast cancer and Rey is supporting her and cheering her on. Even though Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sharon’s ex is still heavily involved, especially with her latest diagnoses, Rey has been a strong shoulder to lean on.
As it turns out, this chemistry doesn’t just happen on screen, but in real life between the two soap stars. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, the two discussed their bond and how they first met. To Sharon’s surprise, they had met before at a party, but didn’t remember!

Jordi Vilasuso: Well, I did.
Case: What? Oh, you did?
Vilasuso: Yeah. I met you. I don’t think you remember me. Maybe it wasn’t that memorable, but I remember meeting Sharon Case very briefly years ago at a party.
Case: Oh, my goodness! So we had met before. Well, it must’ve been, “Hi, bye,” I guess.
Vilasuso: Yeah, it was something like that.
