CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers today tell us that Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of compassion came through, and Phyllis found the strength of ten hearts, plus two! It may be all for show, but something seems different about Phyllis today. She learned something was going on with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and her whole attitude has completely changed. She’s backed off from Abby Newman (Mellisa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) relationship. She listened to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about getting up and leaving. Did her heart finally grow?
Today, Sharon had to go get a procedure done. She had a port put in her to easily administer her chemotherapy. It wasn’t a big deal and the procedure went perfectly. Until Sharon decided to wear the loosest shirt in her closet! If you’re trying to hide something, maybe let fashion take a back seat! It wasn’t long until Phyllis noticed Sharon’s bandage on her chest from the port and began asking questions. What we didn’t expect, was Phyllis’s reaction.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Knows There’s Something Going On With Sharon! Tricks Nick Into Giving Something Away!
Phyllis already sensed something was up with Sharon. Everyone was huddling around her, and treating her like she was a queen. The other day Sharon had been nice to her, and today even asked how her daughter Summer Newman (Hunter King) was doing. Then she saw her bandage. She immediately started asking questions and wanted to know what was going on, but she didn’t get anything out of Sharon.
It wasn’t until Nick walked in and Phyllis began questioning him. Wanting to know what was going on but Nick kept his cool and kept saying nothing, they’re just busy from Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) coming home and starting school again. This was when Phyllis went into snake mode. She began acting like she knew something, to see how Nick would react. Unfortunately, she saw through him. Nick demanded if she wanted to help, she would get up, shut up, and walk out. Surprisingly, Phyllis did just that, giving Sharon a long look out the door.
Of course, Sharon accused Nick of telling. He told Sharon over and over he didn’t. We saw the conversation, he didn’t. He tells Sharon that deep down, he believes Phyllis is a good person and won’t tell. This seems hilarious, but may have a shred of truth to it. Later we see Phyllis walking by Abby while Abby tries to taunt her about Chance. Phyllis tells her she doesn’t care and there’s more important things in the world as she begins to cry. Did we just see Phyllis’s heart grow?
