CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to end the week in style, and this episode looks like it’s going to come down to a single decision.
This looks like it’ll be a fun character building episode as we’re going to get some more options for storylines coming up, and an old favorite possibly embarking on a new career path.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Getting ready to escalate
We’re also going to get some conspiratorial action as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) put their heads together to deal with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Things should get interesting, and we’re not sure Diane will be the one to escalate things.
Sure, she’s not an innocent as she came to Genoa City and refused to leave, but it feels like Phyllis and/or Ashley will be the ones to push things to the brink.
Armed with their latest bit of news that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is remaining friendly to Diane won’t sit well will then and they’ll start working on how to counter her before she pulls more people onto her side.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Esther starts a new chapter
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) in more than an occasional visit, but she may be back for a longer stay this time as Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will give her a helping hand.
In fact, ‘Young and the Restless’ think this will be a curious exchange as there’s plenty of possibilities, but we think this will be an investment opportunity.
Maybe Chloe will offer Esther a top role in her and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s business. At this point, it could be just about anything and it’ll be fun to see what’s in store for Esther.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Decision time
With the pressure on, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will know he has to make a decision and the time is now.
The thing is, we don’t think it’ll be the decision we’re expecting as that would be too quick for the show’s normal storytelling.
We think he’ll decide that if Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) thinks it’s best, he’ll agree to go to his dad about Jabot bailing out, er, buying Marchetti.
It’d be great business and put off him having to make a decision about Diane for a few more days.
