CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that we finally hit the peak of Paul and Christine Week as the beautiful blond pair finally walk done the aisle! For the YR episode on Thursday, July 2, producers take viewers back to their wedding date on August 7, 1996. The couple finally wed nearly two years after they were initially supposed to. It was a beautiful wedding with 90s style and plenty to talk about!

Despite their plans for a romantic New Year’s Eve wedding, the couple had to make other arrangements due to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) casually running them down with her car. As a side note, how do these events just get glazed over? Regardless, Christine Blaire (Lauralee Bell) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) finally walk down the aisle – safely indoors without Phyllis anywhere in sight. Of course, the couple has no idea that the culprit of the violent crime was the feisty redhead, so they walk blissfully into marriage in ignorance.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Paul and Christine Finally Wed!

As cameras switch to the Winters family, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) is getting overly protective of his sister-in-law, Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams). His dark and twisted (and super handsome) brother, Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) has his eye on Olivia, and Neil isn’t having any of it. Way to watch out for your sister-in-law, Neil! However, in hindsight, it looks like he should have been a little bit more concerned about his wife.

Meanwhile, Phyllis does feel like getting a little honest. Not about running Paul and Christine off the road, of course, however, she does have her fair share of poor decisions and evil schemes that she might want to get off her chest. Thankfully, the bomb she drops won’t affect Paul and Christine’s wedding…this time. How do you feel about Paul and Christine Week? Did you like reliving their romance?
