CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that fans get another classic episode this week, producers take it back to June 2, 1990. The constant switching back and forth between eras has pleasantly reminded us that we could never get too comfortable with our favourite characters, couples, or situations in Genoa City. Yesterday, everything was right in the world. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was just beginning her romance with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). However, today, we are reminded of how quickly things change, as Nikki is at dinner with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) – also known as Victor’s biggest nemesis.

At dinner (at a burlesque-type club), Victor is dining with Cassandra Rawlins (Nina Arveson), and Nikki is pleasantly sitting across from Jack Abbott. The two seemed blissful – but, of course, there was a magnetic pull between Nikki and Victor. When Jack commented on the talent of the exotic dancer, Nikki was floored! How could he compliment such a pathetic dance? Nikki spent years as a stripper, and she’s convinced that her two children haven’t taken the pep out of her step. Nikki is ready for a challenge – and to remind everyone that she still has it.

Luckily, Victor is there to witness the whole thing. At this point, we learn that Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) is in jail. Nathan Hastings (Nathan Purdee), Olivia Barber Winters (Tonya Lee Williams), John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), Ashley Abbott (Brenda Epperson), and Memie Johnson (Veronica Redd) are all gossiping about the pick-pocketing girl.
On the other side of Genoa City, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bergmen) is married to Scott Grainger (Peter Barton) – wait…there was a time when she wasn’t married to Michael? He didn’t know up to his surprise party and she is furious! He explains that he didn’t know about it (after all, it was a surprise), and he had to take a nurse, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) home. Jokes on Lauren – Sheila has a plan, and it’s not nearly innocent. Stay tuned for more crazy classic episodes of our favourite Y&R cast members!
