CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Summer Newman (Hunter King) may not care what her parents think. Both have sat her down and talked to her about her situation with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) but it seems it will fall on deaf ears. Summer seems to think she knows what she and Kyle want, and they can’t deny their feelings.

While Phyllis Summers (Michele Stafford) has been a bit more supportive of it, she still isn’t without her doubts. Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) had a chance to sit down with her after he saw her with Kyle. He asks her what’s going on and where she was last night. He just saw her with Kyle so it’s nothing she can hide.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Nick & Phyllis Warn Their Daughter About Going Straight Back To Kyle

Nick is concerned for his daughter and doesn’t want to see her get her heartbroken again. He tells her about all the things Kyle’s done and how he made her feel last time. She shouldn’t rush into anything too quickly. Summer reassures him they’re not rushing into anything, the feelings never left. This makes Nick uneasy, he wants to support his daughter but thinks she’s making a big mistake.

Later on, Nick sees Phyllis and they talk about it. They talk about how Summer is in love and while they disagree with it, and Nick doesn’t like Kyle they agree to support her. Kyle’s done a lot over the last year, and broken a few too many hearts. It’s unlikely that he’s a changed man, so I think we can expect another round between him and Summer. What do you think? Will Kyle and Summer weather the storm this time, or is it just a mistake? Let us know in the comments below.
