CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ ( Y&R) spoilers find that star Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) is well aware that when it comes to his character finding his one true love, it might never happen. In fact, he even admits that Nick is one very unlucky in love person in Genoa City. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, the handsome actor puts it this way, “I think the writers get a twists enjoyment out of seeing Nick lose and suffer. It gives the character a fun element to play, which is always dealing with loss, and it’s kind of carved out who he is. He is a very confident dude. He’s like, ‘I don’t need anymore! I’m going to be alone!’ But he absolutely cannot. He is kind of a serial relationship guy.’”

With that said, a lot of people suspected that Nick would end up with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), but of course Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) came in and basically broke up that relationship without even putting that much effort into it. In fact, many viewers were surprised how quietly Nick and Chelsea broke up. However, Joshua adds that when it comes to Adam Newman, Nick thinks he is a “massive annoyance. He doesn’t trust Adam and he never will.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that these days it’s his other ex Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) who insists on sticking around along with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) who can’t decide if she needs Nick in her life right now or not. With so many beautiful women in a town like Genoa City, you’d think that Nick would have settled down with at least one person by now, but that hasn’t happened. In fact, it might also not happen for a very long time, too. Of course, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what’s in store next!
