CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) is getting prepared for reshooting! In a funny video, he posted on Instagram, he sits in a chair relaxing outside while “watching” a recap of one of the last new episodes we got.
A computer voice recaps the episode as Thompson sits there enthralled like he was studying what happened to get back into it. He also munches on carrots for dramatic effect. Check out Thompson’s funny video below that he shared with the following caption,
“Preparation begins. @youngandrestlesscbs recaps and carrots.
Back to work!”

We’ve got news from co-star Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Newman) that they are shooting “soon”. Is this more confirmation that shooting is going to be happening soon? It certainly looks that way and we can’t wait to see the Emmy award-winning Jason Thompson back on-screen as Billy Abbott and following his rise with Chancellor, his relationship with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and what will happen between him and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
I’m hoping that Billy and Amanda come back together, they had great chemistry and last we saw, Billy was pursuing and looking across the restaurant at Amanda, who was looking back. There was something there! Get back to that!
