CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may be feeling some guilt about blackmailing Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) for the company. We’ve seen this side of Adam a few times now, but it’s always quick and gone. Today, before he prepared for his live interview, Adam talked to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) about how he felt.

He explained to her that Victor probably did what he did just to keep Hope and him safe. He’s mentioned this before and told Chelsea that he feels like he would do the same thing for their child. However, Chelsea is quick to pull him out of it. I think we know who the real mastermind behind this is. Did you say, Chelsea? You’re right.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Adam Holding Some Regret Over Ousting Victor?

While they were in Kansas, it seemed like Adam was ready to forget about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) filling in at Newman and I even wrote a piece about how I like normal Adam. He went sledding with his kid and seemed generally decent. It wasn’t until Chelsea pushed him on the issue about Victor being in town and the idea that he had something to do with the man’s murder. This got Adam thinking about this in this first place.

Since they’ve returned to Genoa City, Chelsea has had he hand on Adam steering him where he needs to go. While Adam, I’m sure, wants the company just as bad, there’s no doubt in my mind that Chelsea is the driving force behind this moving forward. Together, they’ve been able to make this work. In fact, Chelsea seems more excited about it than Adam does. Something’s odd, and it’d be interesting to see Adam genuinely have a change of heart. What do you think? Is Adam holding some guilt for blackmailing Victor? Let us know in the comments below.
